Effectiveness
Monitoring and Evaluation Model through Face to Face Approach toward Enhancing Performance
of Teacher Learning in Private High School in Parepare town.
To
improve the quality of education in the sphere of education units are active
educators. Without their active participation, the quality of education can
never be achieved. According to Law No. 20 of 2003 on National Education System
stated, the components of the education system that is the human resources can
be classified as educators and managers of educational units.
By
him, the purpose of School Action Research (is to enhance the effectiveness of
monitoring and evaluation through face-to-face approach toward the performance
of teachers’ learning in private high school in Pare-Pare.
Moreover,
the subjects in this study were educators who teach Civics and Social Subjects
at Private High School Parepare town. Educational Action Research conducted
through two cycles, where each cycle consists of four stages, namely: a) Plan
of action, b) Implementation Measures, c) Observation, and d) reflection or
evaluation. The four stages are carried out as a stage act that aims to
identify and obtain data on the performance improvement of teachers in
conducting Preparation and Implementation of Learning
The
results indicate that monitoring and evaluation through face to face approach
can improve the performance of teachers in making learning device includes
improved teacher performance both in the planning and implementation of
learning for Civics and social studies teacher at the Private high school and
can provide teacher awareness of the deficiencies and advantages in making
learning device.

Untuk
meningkatkan mutu pendidikan pada lingkup satuan pendidikan yang berperan aktif
adalah tenaga pendidik. Tanpa peran aktif mereka, peningkatan mutu pendidikan
tidak akan pernah tercapai. Menurut Undang-Undang Nomor 20 tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional menyatakan, komponen-komponen
sistem pendidikan yang bersifat sumber daya manusia dapat digolongkan menjadi
tenaga pendidik dan pengelola satuan pendidikan.
Olehnya itu, tujuan Penelitian
Tindakan Sekolah (PTS) ini adalah untuk meningkatkan
efektifitas monitoring dan evaluasi melalui model pendekatan face to face
terhadap kinerja guru dalam pembelajaran di SMA Swasta Parepare.
Dan
subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah
tenaga pendidik yang mengajarkan Mata Pelajaran PKn dan IPS di SMA Swasta
Kota Parepare. Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah
dilaksanakan melalui dua siklus, dimana masing-masing siklus meliputi 4
tahapan yaitu ; a) Perencanaan tindakan, b) Pelaksanaan Tindakan, c) Observasi,
dan d) refleksi atau evaluasi. Keempat tahapan tersebut dilakukan sebagai
tahapan tindakan yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan memperoleh data
tentang peningkatan kinerja guru dalam melakukan Persiapan dan Pelaksanaan
Pembelajaran
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Monitoring dan
Evaluasi melalui pendekatan face to face dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru dalam
pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran meliputi peningkatan kinerja guru baik pada
perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran bagi guru PKn dan IPS di SMA Swasta
Parepare serta dapat memberikan penyadaran guru PKN dan IPS terhadap kekurangan
dan kelebihan yang dimiliki dalam membuat perangkat pembelajaran.
